A Celebratory Spring Snack

PB

At our house we have two adorable little boys under the age of four who really love to dip things. They will eat almost anything if they can dip it, so I created a healthy dip I knew they would like. The recipe is simple, can be made ahead of time, and tastes yummy enough to eat with a spoon or dip only your fingers, as our youngest prefers. While dip can dress up a tray of fruit and veggies for something special, this one is also perfect for everyday celebrations like afternoon snack.

Peanut Butter Yogurt Fruit and Veggie Dip

 1 cup plain yogurt
½ cup peanut butter
2 T honey
1/2 t cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together, stirring thoroughly. Serve with celery and/or carrot sticks, apple, pear or banana slices or other fruit and veggies.

I will confess that I have not tried to substitute almond butter or another nut butter in this recipe, but I am certain that it would turn out just great.
