This coffee cozy pattern is eco friendly, and super cute too! It will keep your drink from being mistaken for another’s, and your hands won’t get burned from those toasty cups of tea, coffee, or chai! The size in this pattern will fit a standard disposable coffee cup (from 10-20 oz. sizes).
Materials
Hook : K
Yarn: Super Bulky (Lion Brand Home Town)

Key:
SS- Slip Stitch
HDC- Half Double Crochet
CH-Chain
Cozy Pattern
Each row is designated by a -
- CH 23, SS into the first CH, CH 2
Working in a round from here on in. There will be 23 HDC in each of the next rows.
-HDC in every CH for the entire row, SS to the top of the CH 2, CH 2
-HDC in every HDC, SS to the top of the CH 2
(do this row for a total of 6 rows)
-Fasten off, and weave in tails.
Flower Pattern
-CH 5, SS into the first CH.
From now on you will be working around that CH you just SS into. That is the center of the flower. You are working in a circle.
-CH 4, SS back into that same center CH, CH 4 again, SS back into that same center CH, do this until you have 5 loops coming off of the center CH.
-SS into the center of the first loop, CH 2, HDC x 4 into that same loop, SS to the center CH again, and then SS into the next loop, CH 2 again, HDC x 4 into that same loop, SS to the center CH again, and then SS into the next loop, etc. Follow this pattern for each of the 5 loops, this creates the 5 petals of the flower.
Fasten off.
Use the tails from the flower to attach it to the desired spot on your cozy. Enjoy!
